Hopefully you enjoyed the photo journal and learned a bit about two countries, different from our own.
Like any country we visit, we only get to experience the tip of the iceberg. There is so much more to see, so much more to learn about. Whenever and where ever you travel, hopefully you will get to do a lot of it on foot. It really is the best way to meet the people, enjoy the culture...and experience the geography!
EFTours provided a great tour for us and everyone I worked with along the way was professional and outstanding. They provided us a great value for our money too!
We met our literary characters, hopefully we became more secure in our worldview, we made new friendships, enjoyed enduring friendships, and came away with a desire to travel again. ...and again...and again.
So it is now time to go back to the hotel and pack up for home......

| The Belvedere Hotel in the city center was a wonderful place to stay. Even with its crazy hallways, we loved it! The front desk staff was wonderful too and we found people in Ireland to be oh so friendly! |

| It might be good if I remember to explain how to turn on the lights in many European hotels. You put the door key into the slot....lights on. Take the card out.....lights off. Very eco friendly! We call it "green." |

| Many of the ladies overpacked. I will have to address that next trip! We almost ran out of luggage room in Scotland! |

| Even the Leprechauns were sad to see us leave. We might have been some of the only American tourists in Dublin. It was lovely! |
Some of the really brave and wide awake students enjoyed a late night / early morning gathering in the lobby. Building pyramids, line dancing, and generally enjoying the company of their classmates and loving their friendships made for a nice close for an amazing trip. Yes...there was wifi too.

| Florida! No more jackets! This is how to pack light....and not so light! There were no lost passports so we could all say It's good to be BACK IN THE USA! And now JTerm 2012 is in the record books. JTerm 2013 is underway. Registration has begun and the trip roster is filling quickly. I only post here when I travel with students, so until January 2013......... Get ready GERMANY and SWITZERLAND Here we come! |
